The James Cumine Parkinson Letters

Letter 282

Iron Pot,
April 10th 1882
My dear Grandma,

I now take the opportunity of thanking you for the nice piece of crewel? work that you sent me. Papa bought me a very nice piano it has a very nice tone. We have six gentlemen down here spending their Easter holidays.

I am very sorry that Mrs Cunningham has gone away as I liked being there very much. Charlie is getting such a great boy he is just beginning to talk. I am very glad we are not going to Goose Island as it is so far.

I do not think I have any more news to tell you so with love to Aunts and Uncles, I remain dear Grandma Your loving Grandchild,

A.C. Parkinson
