As I was writing to Mr West I thought twould be as well to send you a line although I have not much to say except that I was at Church this morning at a place called Oxton and saw Wm Montgomery there. He is going over in a day or two. I’ve got two tortoises and some shells to send home I said I would send them last week but was too late for the boat and I shall write to Mamma next time.
