The James Cumine Parkinson Letters

Letter 17

Killough
November 18th 1848

My dear James,

I send you this mark, as my birth-day present. I have stopped sucking my fingers, and am very glad of it. Bessie is gone to school altogether, till vacation. The two Misses Russell from Ardglass, spent their Halloween with us. Baby will soon walk, and has eight teeth. Mamma has made me a present of a nice little history of the English Bible. Please write soon. Grandma and all here, unite in kind love to you.

I am my dear James,

Your affect sister,

F.J. Parkinson
