The James Cumine Parkinson Letters |
Letter 10Armagh
Dear Mamma, Although absent in the body, yet this letter will remind you of me on my birthday, and let you know that my thoughts are present with you. I read your letter on Sunday and think that I am more reconciled to the place then when I first came. I miss my warm coat. But when the railway will soon be opened you will have no trouble sending it. I would very much like to have some currant vinegar jam as I have the dregs of my cold yet but no matter. Give my most affect love to Dada, Grandma and all the etc. Joe and Miss L and believe me your loving son J.C. Parkinson pray for me |
