Dear Mamma, You sent me so many questions to answer in your last note that I do not know how to begin to answer them. As to the watch you need not fear but that I shall take the greatest care of it. I was not the least wet coming here so that I had no need for to dry them. Grandmamma was much obliged for the tea and shall?(shawl?). I gave the most of my money to uncle Edward to keep for me.
