I recd your letter and would have written to you but John said he would write to you I am sorry you do not like the John Chism but will the allow you to leave her if you have not sufficient cause, does Willy inte(nd) leaving her to(o) your Uncle Henry left Newcastle last week with the intention of going to London I suppose you will see him before this reac(hes?) you I am sorry it was not in my power to go to see you and Willy you know this is the lodging season and I have no one to leave behind me the house is not let yet the servant I got at May thought .. long and is left me I don't hear of any as yet what is the reason the did not allow you and Willy to come home can Mr Chism make me pay the fifty pounds if you leave if you don't get home write before you leave London Your brothers and sister join with me in Love to Willy and you
