The Nannie Cinnamon and Kate Trimble Letters

Letter 65

Undated
9 Spencer Street

My dear Miss Parkinson,

In consequence of the Carlyles going to the country to the end of the month, and other arrangements over which I could have no control I find myself unavoidably thrown on your Door's hospitality for a night or two's lodging for myself and Kate. Mr Rogan goes to Dr Aicken. Will you have the goodness to speak of this to Dada and say at the same time if it is will inconvenience any of you. I trust you will have no hesitation to say so. I do not expect Kate until some time on Wednesday but it will be absolutely necessary for me to be back on Thursday as soon as the Auction is over.

I do apologise for this great trouble but in some sort of .. left no alternative. My love to Miss Francis and kind remembrance to Dada,

Believe me ever in gratitude, yours, N. Rogan
